Lucas Simões (b. Catanduva, Brazil) is a visual artist with a background in architecture, whose work delves into the interplay of matter and materiality as a form of language. Grounded in theoretical research, their practice revolves around large-scale spatial installations, where the experience of space becomes an integral part of the artwork's perception. His architectural training informs their approach, blending technical precision with poetic exploration. Lucas has held solo exhibitions at renowned venues, including MAMAM in Recife, Caixa Cultural in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and Pivô Arte e Pesquisa.
