While in equality diversity disappears, in identity diversity is revealed. For Heidegger, identity is not confused with equality. The world we live in is characterized by representative categories that we use to communicate and distinguish experiences. These categories are fundamental tools for communication and understanding the world around us. However, while nature follows a constant cycle of changes and movements, our language tends to simplify and reduce complex experiences to a single meaning. Therefore, to effectively communicate an experience, it is often necessary to filter it through these categories, even if this may involve a simplification and a loss of nuances.
