Andrea Gallotti was born in Monza in 1993 and currently lives and works in Milan. An experimental painter, Gallotti has developed a distinctive approach to painting, characterized by a highly gestural and emotional brushstroke. His artistic training began at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he honed his technique and vision, and subsequently expanded into an international career that has seen him work and exhibit around the world.
Gallotti maintains a strongly abstract and identity-driven visual language, expressed through a "grammar of gesture": a personal alphabet of shapes and signs created by the artist himself. This stylistic research has led him to exhibit in prestigious venues such as Scope Art Basel in Miami, as well as in Switzerland, Brazil, Italy, and the United States.
In 2025, Gallotti will present a significant solo exhibition in London, along with a large individual exhibition of more than 30 works at the SAC Contemporary Art space. His works are internationally sought after and are part of private and public collections in cities like Abu Dhabi, New York, Miami, Milan, and Rio de Janeiro. The material evolution of his work initially involved the use of enamel on canvas, but has since moved towards experimentation with various materials such as glass, clay, and porcelain. Color composition remains one of Gallotti’s strengths, showcasing his ability to manipulate color to create visually impactful and emotionally engaging compositions.
