A Brooklyn-based artist, Senem Oezdogan moved from Germany to New York to study design and illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology. 
After graduating in 2010, she quickly began working with prominent clients and publishers. Her works are rooted in manual practices and fiber art, drawing strong inspiration from primary structures and architecture. Characterized by a precise balance of color and form, her art achieves perfect visual harmony. Senem Oezdogan (b. 1980)  is a painter whose practice includes painting, drawing, and fiber art. Her work focuses on the visual phenomenon of optical illusion through color, form, and contrast.
