Educated in Art History at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Visual Arts at the Parque Lage School, Kuschnir has a remarkable trajectory
Kuschnir primarily develops his work through painting. Having started his practice early, Kuschnir began exhibiting his work in independent shows as early as 2017. Two years later, he had his first solo exhibition at the Macunaíma Gallery of UFRJ.
After that, throughout 2020 and 2021, he continued to exhibit in both group and solo shows in Rio and São Paulo, while developing two major series of paintings, "Choro" and "Avalanche." The former was displayed in the main hall of the Museum of Contemporary Art - Niterói (MAC) in 2022, making him the youngest artist to have a solo exhibition in the history of the institution. "Avalanche" was later shown in 2023 at Galpão 808, an independent art space on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. In 2024, he held solo shows at Casa da Escada Colorida in Rio and at Leerstand als Begegnungsraum in Bonn, Germany.
